Nylon hub for all Multifan 92 fans
Following the complete conversion to plastic blades a few years ago, Vostermans Ventilation decided to take this step for the hubs as well. As the first project for the conversion all Multifan 92 fans were selected. The new, lighter hub is made of nylon, a durable and hardwearing material. The two hub valves are connected using a click system. The hub is provided with a new motor shaft with a fluted penn, as used with the EMI fans. An additional advantage is that the blade is lighter. Since the new hub requires a special axis, the new hub does not fit in the fans currently in use in the field. The blades already used in the field fit well on the new axles.
